My Review:
I have used self tanners for several years. I don't like tanning salons and it seems like laying on the beach with 4 kids isn't in my daily routine.
This was actually my first time getting to try a self tanner towelette thanks to Thermalabs giving me some to try in exchange for my honest opinion. I normally use a self tanning foam or lotion. The lotions work pretty good, but it is really easy to get one area darker that the other without noticing. As for foams, they streak like a zebra if you try to apply to fast.
I used the Towelettes for the first time last night. It took 2 towels to cover all over. The Towelette are very moist, I was surprised how much one Towelette could cover. I also like is how even it goes on. It's pretty much fool proof.
I put it on before bed, so I can't say how long it took to develop into a tan, but when I woke up, my skin looked amazing. The color was very even, I couldn't even find a single spot that had streaking. I also was surprised that it covered perfectly no lighter/darker spots and the color was perfectly even all over. I had forgot to go easy on my knees and elbows with the tanner as they tend to get darker in color, but it turned out perfect. The color you get is darker than most self tanners I use, which is great. The color you get with these on the first use is comparable to 4-5 applications of the other brands.
