This is the first time I have ever tried matcha in single serve portions! What a great idea, I love having the option to take it to work and not have to worry about spilling the bag and making a mess on my desk. These Little packets fit perfect in my purse and desk drawer.
I was sent these to try in exchange for my honest opinion. I have tried a few matchas, but I am no expert by any means. I do however drink matcha smoothies as well as tea several times a week.
I added 1 packet to my usual smoothie and the taste was excellent. I could taste the earthiness of the green tea, and no bitterness. I also made hot tea last night with it and it was excellent. No bitter taste at all. My husband even liked it.
Being that these are single serve makes them a great advantage over others. The taste is great, very smooth and earthy just like it should be!
