I bake almost everyday and these silicone mats are my new favorite kitchen gadget. I have used silicone baking mats for a little over a year now and love everything about them.
I was asked to try this set of silicone baking mats in exchange for an honest review. As soon as they arrived, I could see and feel the difference of quality these offered compared to my original ones. To start off these are thicker than most, so they are really built to last for years to come. Also the 16 ½" X 11" is the perfect size to fit your baking sheet and with an added bonus of the clipped corners the mats will fit the raised edge baking sheets as well.
I love that these baking mats do not "store" the flavors of what you cook. I can go from roasted garlic one night and the next day I can bake cookies with no sign of the garlic from the night before. I love to bake french breads but often find that the bottom cooks to fast. With this mat I get the perfect loaf every time. These baking mats are also super easy to clean..either wash in warm soapy water or as I do it, just place on the top rack of the dishwasher.
