My Review:
When they say Sumo they mean it! I told my kids last night that when I get really old (even though they think I'm about as old as they come) I can pass this ice cream scoop down to them; it will outlast me for sure.
Now on to the good stuff, this scoop has an easy non slip grip coating on the handle. This not only makes scooping easier, but your hand doesn't freeze like other metal handle scoops.
The scoop itself has a unique design that allows you to really dig into the ice cream and scoop it perfectly. Just like suggested, dip it in hot water just before scooping that really hard ice cream. Now this scoop is super heavy duty..just look at the base above the scoop in my pics, that is some serious solid stainless steel and you can really feel it when you pick this up! Overall an amazing product and it will be the last one you will ever have to buy..except for a gift maybe. I was sent this for review purposes.
