My Review:
What a beautiful gift set. To start off this set comes in a really nice hard case with magnetic closure on the side. Inside you will find a beautiful handmade Matcha Tea bowl. The bowl is great size especially for mathcha lattes. There is also a ceramic matcha whisk holder in a pretty light mint green color. This is a great addition and rarely seen in these type of gift sets. It is used to help keep the shape of the bamboo whisk while it dries after use. Next in the box you will find of course the handmade bamboo whisk. The quality of this is exceptional! Next is the handmade bamboo spoon, perfect size and beautifully crafted. On the outer cover you will see an added 1 oz package of Matcha to get you started.
I made a cup last night using this set and I am very pleased with it. The bamboo whisk made a wonderful matcha foam on the top, perfect for lattes or hot tea. The macha that was included had amazing fresh earthy taste. I personally like to add a little sugar to mine but of course optional to satisfy your taste.
On the inner cover there is also a wonderful inscription telling about green tea matcha and how to prepare the perfect cup. I am so impressed with this set. I have personally purchased many other brands for gifts and this far better. I would recommend this for regular matcha drinkers as well as beginners. With the exceptional quality of this I would expect it to last for years to come.
