We love to go hiking and camping and having a foldable shovel is a necessity. The one we had before this was all one piece and not very durable. As soon as this arrived I was blown away by the quality. This is made of heavy duty Wrought iron so you know it is not only strong, but it is built to last.
This has an excellent overall design. To start off the handle is screwed on so you get the durability and strength you need. The shovel head is already attached, simple tighten the handle to secure it in the extended position and loosen to retract it back for easy storage.
The shovel head itself has many great details, from the dibble pick that makes digging a breeze to the sharp saw blade on the side. that's not all...there is even a bottle opener on it as well. The end of the handle has a built in compass too perfect for hiking. This shovel is a perfect for home use, camping, hiking and even keeping in the car for a great safety device.
